Weekly Message October 11, 2024

My Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This week, we had the joy of welcoming back our Sunday School students and officially kicking off our GOYA year. The energy and enthusiasm in the air were contagious, and I couldn't help but reflect on how truly beautiful it is to be immersed in the life of our youth ministry.

As a priest, there are many roles we serve—offering services, visiting the sick, and leading the faithful—but for me, it is in working with our youth, in both our school and ministries, that I see Christ most alive. These young hearts, filled with curiosity, excitement, and faith, remind us all of the joy of following Christ. They are the future of our Church, and their presence inspires us to grow alongside them.

I encourage every family to make our youth ministries a priority. Whether it's Sunday School, GOYA, or any of the other opportunities we offer, these ministries are places where our children can deepen their faith, form lasting friendships, and truly experience Christ. If you have children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews—bring them in! This is where they belong, and this is where they will thrive, surrounded by the love of their Church family.

Let us continue to nurture and support the faith of our youth, for through them, we witness the living body of Christ.

In Christ's Love,
