As we gather here on this special day, I want to share a message with you from the Bible, specifically from The Gospel According to John, verses 3:13-17. These verses hold wisdom and inspiration that can help guide us through this new school year.

Imagine this: Jesus is talking to His friends, and He says, "No one has gone up to heaven except the Son of Man who came down from heaven." What does that mean? Well, it means that Jesus is very special. He's like a bridge between heaven and Earth. When we think of Jesus, we can remember that we are never alone. He's always with us, guiding us on our journey through life.

Now, there's a very famous verse in these passages, John 3:16. It says, "God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not be lost but have eternal life." This verse is like a big, warm hug from God. It tells us that God loves us more than anything else in the whole wide world. It's a message of hope and love, and it's something we can carry with us every day.

Today, we're not just starting a new school year; we're starting a new adventure. Just like Jesus came down from heaven to be with us, we're starting a new journey in our school. We have the chance to learn, grow, and discover new things. It's an exciting time!

But remember, school is not just about reading books and doing math. It's also about learning important life lessons. Just as Jesus came to Earth with a special mission, we have a mission too. Our mission is to be kind, helpful, and loving to others. We can make the world a better place by showing love and compassion, just like Jesus did.

As we step into this new school year, let's dedicate ourselves to being the best students and friends we can be. Let's remember that Jesus is always with us, guiding us like a true friend. Let's also remember that God's love surrounds us, and we can share that love with everyone we meet.
