Dear Beloved in Christ,

This Sunday, we celebrate the Sunday of Orthodoxy, a day that proclaims the fullness of our faith and the triumph of truth. It is a special and joyous occasion where we invite all parishioners—young and old—to bring their icons to church and participate in the procession, reminding us of the power and presence of Christ and His saints in our lives. The restoration of holy icons to the Church was not just about artwork—it was about reaffirming the truth of the Incarnation, that Christ became fully human to redeem us, and that His image can be venerated as a reflection of His divine presence.

This Sunday is also significant for our parish as we will witness the swearing-in of our new Board of Trustees, elected in December. These dedicated lay leaders serve alongside me to oversee the operations and spiritual well-being of our church and school. They carry a great responsibility, and as a community, we are called not only to support them but to pray for them—that the Lord may grant them wisdom, strength, and guidance as they work to serve and grow our beloved parish.

Join us this Sunday for a beautiful and meaningful service—to celebrate our Orthodox faith, to uphold the sacred tradition of the icons, and to support those who have stepped forward to lead our community. May this day remind us of the beauty and fullness of the Church and our calling to live out our faith boldly.

In Christ’s love,
