My Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

With great joy, we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. On this holy day, the eternal God enters into our world, taking on human flesh to bring us salvation. The angels proclaim, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (Luke 2:14), and we, too, are called to join in this heavenly hymn of praise.

Christmas is a time to marvel at the boundless love of God—a love so profound that He humbled Himself to dwell among us, sharing in our humanity so that we might share in His divinity. It is a day of hope and light, reminding us that even in the darkest moments, Christ is our guiding star, our joy, and our salvation.

As we gather with family and friends this Christmas, may we not lose sight of the true reason for our celebration. The greatest gift we can receive is not found beneath the tree, but in the manger—the gift of Christ Himself, who offers us eternal life and unending love.

May this holy day inspire us to draw closer to God, to one another, and to the mission of living as faithful disciples of Christ. Let us embrace the spirit of Christmas, not just today, but every day, by loving, forgiving, and sharing the light of Christ with the world around us.

Wishing you and your loved ones a most blessed and joyful Christmas. May the peace and joy of Christ’s birth fill your hearts and homes, now and always.

In the love of the newborn King,
