Dear Friends of Philoptochos
We would like to extend a warm welcome invitation to our entire community for dinner at
Bahari Estiatorio on Friday, September 25, 2026.
Spouses and friends are invited too.
Since June, Bahari has been generously providing a fresh, hot meal daily to Mr. George Elefteriou, an elderly man battling bladder cancer who lives alone in Astoria. The Ronald McDonald House reached out to our Philoptochos to help him, and the owners at Bahari didn't hesitate for a moment to agree to provide him with some nourishment. They refused to accept any payment from us.
As a thank you for their kindness and display of philanthropy, we agreed to support them in return with a dinner party.
Please join us as we come together to welcome Fall and enjoy a meal together. The price is $60 per person, and you can pay through the QR code on the attached flyer, or with cash or a check at the door. But please RSVP so we have an accurate count to give the restaurant.
