Good Friday Retreat

Join us at 10:00 am at the Church to decorate the Kouvouklion and prepare the Church for the Holy Days.

Join us for a meaningful and engaging Holy Friday Youth Retreat at Saints Constantine and Helen Cathedral. This special day is designed to help our youth reflect on the importance of Holy Friday through creative projects, hands-on service, and time spent together in faith and fellowship.

Children in UKP4 through 6th grade are invited to participate in the retreat, while 7th through 12th graders will take on leadership roles as Retreat Captains. The day will include a variety of activities that encourage spiritual growth, teamwork, and preparation for the Resurrection of Christ.

The retreat will conclude with the Apokathelosis (Removal from the Cross) Service at 2:00 PM, which families are warmly encouraged to attend together. Children will remain in their comfortable retreat clothes during the service.

Parent Volunteers Needed!
We welcome and encourage parents to volunteer and be a part of this special day. To get involved, please contact Mr. John at jstrzelecki@afantis.org.

Even if you're not able to volunteer, all are welcome to join us that day as we come together as a community to beautify our church and prepare our hearts for the celebration of Christ’s Resurrection.

We look forward to seeing you there!

At night, our Mirofores will accompany the tomb of Christ as we process through the Streets of Brooklyn Heights.
