Dear Beloved Parishioners,

As we approach the Feast of the Veneration of the Holy Cross this Sunday, I wanted to take a moment to share with you the profound significance of this special day in the Orthodox Church.

The Feast of the Veneration of the Holy Cross holds a central place in our liturgical calendar, serving as a poignant reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This sacred relic, upon which our Lord was crucified for our salvation, serves as a symbol of hope, redemption, and eternal life.

Through the veneration of the Holy Cross, we are called to reflect on the profound love of God, who willingly endured suffering and death for the forgiveness of our sins. It is a time for us to renew our faith, to seek repentance, and to draw closer to the teachings of Christ.

As we gather together this Sunday to celebrate this solemn feast, let us come with hearts filled with reverence and gratitude. Let us unite in prayer, offering our praises to the One who conquered death and bestowed upon us the gift of eternal life.

I invite each and every one of you to join us for our special services on Sunday as we commemorate the Feast of the Veneration of the Holy Cross. Together, let us journey towards the Cross, embracing the transformative power of Christ’s love and mercy.
