The GOYA of SS Constantine and Helen held the election of their officers on Sunday, September 9, 2012.  The following were elected:  President—Diana Rogakos; Vice-President—Eketarina Vlitas; Treasurer-Alexander Argyriou; Secretary—Taso Papadopoulos.  The Goya of NAK has the potential for forty some participants.  Already, a great event took place on Friday September 28.  20 Goyans took a walk from the church down to DUMBO.  During the walk, everyone enjoyed each others company tremendously.  Upon arriving at DUMBO, the Goyans shared a meal of pizza together and enjoyed the famous ice cream shop.

There are many events planned for Goya.  Everyone is really excited to have a strong youth group, especially, the new Goya Advisors, Haralambos Paloumbis and Ismene Speliotis.  So far the following are dates set aside for Goya events:

September: 16th -GOYA Bakesale; 22nd – GOYA Day at Holiday Hill; 28th – NAK GOYA Hang Out Night in DUMBO

October: 14th -GOYA Bake Sale, 19th -GOYA Hang Out Night

November: 10th -Saint Constantine and Helen Church Dance; 11th-GOYA Bakesale; 15th -6:00pm Packing for the Thanksgiving Food Drive; 17th-8:30 AM Thanksgiving Food Drive

December: 9th-GOYA Christmas Bakesale; 14th-6:00pm  Annual Christmas Dinner for Mentally Disabled; 26th-GOYA Christmas Dance at Central

January: 5th-Nets vs. Kings; 6-Diving for the Cross; 11-NAK GOYA Cosmic Bowling Night; 20-Midnight Run; 26th: MGOBL GOYA RETREAT

February: 1-3rd GOYA Ski Trip

March: 9th- Apokriatiko Glenti; 17th Godparent Sunday

April: 14th 100th Anniversary Luncheon at the Grand Prospect Hall

June: 3-9 SS Constantine and Helen Greek Festival

There will be other events scheduled for the new year!
